Vivacious. Generous. Hypnotic. Caring. Passionate. Loyal. Open.  Halley has been described in many different ways.  Ultimately, she wants to share her love of life through art.

Halley Cianfarini is an actress, dancer, and singer.  She grew up learning from the cultural milieu of the Berkshires of Western MA, and earned her BA in Theatre and Dance at Muhlenberg College.  A recent transplant to New York, she works on the stage regionally and on tour, and made her feature film debut in Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock.  She has just finished a fall tour with Chamber Theatre Productions, performing adaptations of classic literature for high schools throughout the country.

A dancer of primarily jazz, modern, and ballet, and singer trained in classical and musical theater styles, she has furthered her training beyond college through the American Dance Festival, Broadway Dance Center, TVI Actors Studios New York, private vocal study, and more.  Halley has performed with the Berkshire Theatre Festival (with Eric Hill), The Colonial Theatre of Pittsfield (Dir. James Warwick with Maureen O'Flynn), and the Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre.  In New York, she has appeared with Theater Research Ensemble in The Reunion, Catherine Gasta's dance-theatre work A Piece of Humanity, and in Prospect Park in The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus.  Favorite roles include Velma in Chicago and Fastrada in Pippin. Ask her about her original character voices.

Halley is also a choreographer of contemporary and musical theater work, and a dance and theater teacher, finding a great deal of inspiration in her students. While between performing jobs, Halley juggles several part time gigs, including aura photography.  You may also find her in Times Square, shamelessly sporting a sandwich board for the love of theater - promoting Broadway shows.  In her spare time, she is an avid practitioner of yoga, and loves spending time with family and friends!
